October 25, 2007

Finishing touches being worked on.  First crop (Easter Lilies) planted at new facility.  Office move set for Nov 1 and plants start moving week of Nov 5.

 

September 1, 2007

Progressing very well.  Final Heat Piping is being completed and wrapped with insulation.  Dry walling has started in the offices.  Shade cloth is being installed.  The move should start this month.

 

August 17, 2007

Progressing well.  Heat exchangers are being connected at the Waste Management plant.  Greenhouse structure completely covered.  The first eight houses should have concrete floors completed by 8/26/07.  Drywall scheduled in be installed in headhouse this week.  Electricians are on site.

The Greenhouse is going up, Hot Water Pipes are being run from Waste Management and the Headhouse structure is nearing completion.

 

 

 

May 18, 2007

Most of the Greenhouse post pins have been set and construction will start soon.  The Headhouse is going up well.  The installation of the hot water pipes from Waste Management will start around 5-23-07.

 

 

 

 

April 29, 2007

The Waste Management Engines we are going to get our heat from have been delivered.  The Greenhouse site is still being prepared.  Headhouse heat tubes were installed and the floor has been poured. The Headhouse has been delivered onsite and construction should start on 5/7 and the greenhouse the following week.

 

 

 

April 13, 2007

Greenhouse site is being prepared.  Pre-assembling is being done for the greenhouse structure.  Headhouse drains have been roughed into the headhouse and the floor should be poured soon.  The project should start going vertical very soon.

 

 

March 12, 2007

Weather is getting better.  Pouring foundation walls for headhouse and loading docks.  Finishing the road behind the headhouse.

It has still been very wet.  We are suppose to get some dry and warmer weather the week of 3/5.  Hope to get the foundation poured and start preparing greenhouse site.  

January 23 - 28, 2007

Poured some footings for the headhouse.  Loading Docks are formed. Road almost finished.

 

 

January 19, 2007 thru January 22, 2007

We have had a lot of rain, snow and sleet this winter so progress has been a little slow to this point.  The access road is 80% completed.  The parking area has been excavated and rocked.  The steel building contractor has spread the rock under the steel building (headhouse) and have begun digging footings.  Hoping for some dry weather to start excavating the greenhouse area to have it ready for the greenhouse contractor by mid February.
